Private Medical Insurance (PMI)
In addition to your NHS cover, FanDuel provides you and your family with private health and dental cover administered by Bupa. FanDuel pays the full cost of PMI on your coverage, but you pay taxes on the amount. With the health cover, you can also upgrade to cover your spouse or partner and your children (until the renewal following their 24th birthday).
The Bupa health plan covers eligible conditions and treatments administered by Bupa providers in Bupa facilities, or via Bupa’s virtual care service, including:
- Outpatient consultations and diagnostic procedures
- Inpatient treatment
- Cancer care
- Mental health services
With the Bupa’s dental plan, you can take advantage of the 10% or 20% discount offered through Bupa’s owned and approved network dental practices. New employees can either enrol in the health and/or dental plan within their first month at FanDuel or wait until the following January to enrol.
Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
Sometimes, the crowd noise is too loud. Through the Health Assured EAP, administered by Zurich, is available to talk you through major and minor life issues. The EAP gives you access to 100% confidential counseling, 24/7/365, with mental and behavioral health professionals. This service is fully covered by FanDuel, at no cost to you and your family members, for up to eight sessions per issue per year.
Use the EAP to help you work through:
- Mental health challenges
- Medical concerns
- Legal matters
- Financial concerns
- Anything else on your mind

Pension Scheme
We’re planning your retirement party already—even though we hope you stick around with FanDuel for a long time. Together, you and FanDuel contribute a percentage of your salary during your career to give you reliable income once you stop working.
Once you’ve completed your three-month probationary period at FanDuel, you’re automatically enrolled in the pension scheme. Your default contribution is 4% of your salary, which you can change twice a year, in April and September. If you contribute at least 4% of your salary, FanDuel adds additional 5%. Feel free to contribute as much as you’d like. Just keep in mind that only the first £60,000, between your contributions and FanDuel’s, receive tax relief.
To manage your pension, you must set up an account with Aegon. You’ll receive an email from Aegon once you’ve completed your probationary period. To view and manage your pension scheme, log into your Retireready account. To change your contribution amount, send an email to Human Resources indicating your desired contribution amount and the date you want the change to occur.
Financial Support

Life Insurance
Death is a difficult, but important, subject when you’re thinking about your family’s financial security. If something serious happens to you, your life insurance, administered by Unum, kicks in and protects your loved ones. It pays a lump sum to your trustee in the event of your death.
The life insurance benefit paid to your trustee is equal to four times your salary. You must designate a trustee for your life insurance benefit. Name or change your trustee anytime on Unum’s website.
Mortgage Assistance
Owning a home is about so much more than having a roof over your head. Your home is a place for friends and family to gather, to cherish each other, and to make memories. A symbol of your hard work (and a guarantee of further work). An expression of yourself. An investment.

Cycle to Work
Get a workout, be a friend to the environment, and save money all at once. Through the Cycle to Work Scheme, administered by Cyclescheme, you could save a third of the price on a new bike or bike equipment. All biking expenses are tax-free and deducted from your paychecks until paid off.
To get started, visit a Cyclescheme retailer and choose a commuting package. Then, request a certificate from the retailer and sign an agreement online. FanDuel will be in touch after with next steps.
Travel to Work
Don’t derail your finances if you take the train to work. The Travel to Work Scheme gives you an interest-free loan to cover your train ticket for the year. FanDuel deducts the total cost in 12 instalments from your monthly paycheck.
To get started, fill out the Travel Loan Application Form. Email your completed form to Human Resources.
Car Purchase Assistance
Buying a vehicle is a major expense. The Car Benefit Scheme, administered by Tusker, can make it easier for you.
The scheme allows you to lease a new vehicle, built to your specifications, and pay a fixed fee each month through salary sacrifice. That monthly amount also includes your auto insurance, maintenance costs, routine servicing, road taxes, 24-hour assistance, and more.
