Highlight Reel

These are the 2025 plan changes we communicated during Open Enrollment.

You’ll be happy to learn that we’re still rocking with the same best-in-class benefit plans and options for 2025. We’re also making some enhancements and offering some new programs in the new year.

Game on! Review your options, enroll, and get excited about great benefits in 2025.

Thrive in ’25

FanDuel Benefits are pretty incredible. They’re designed to support you in all phases of your life, including your health, your finances, and your family. All the same amazing benefits are available for 2025, plus several enhancements to our mental health programs based on your Peakon feedback. Between unlimited, on-demand coaching through the new Headspace EAP and integrated physical and mental health care through Goodpath, we’re building a super team to support your wellbeing.

So many exciting things are coming to your FanDuel benefits roster. But first things first! To take advantage of some benefits, or to change from one plan to another, you must sign up during the once-a-year Open Enrollment period. Now is the time to review your choices and decide which plans work best for you in 2025.

Let’s get it started

This year’s Open Enrollment period is November 1–15, 2024, for benefits effective January 1, 2025. You must enroll by 11:59 p.m. ET on November 15 to lock in your choices for 2025. You’ll do that in bswift, our new enrollment platform.

If you don’t enroll: Your choices from 2024 will carry over into 2025—except for flexible spending accounts and the health savings account, which require that you reenroll each year.

Roster Updates

Here’s what’s coming to FanDuel Benefits starting January 1, 2025:

Enhancements to Mental and Physical Health Benefits

Body and mind: two sides of the same coin. Headspace will replace Anthem as our employee assistance program partner to support your mental health. Consequently, a new teammate—Goodpath—joins our roster to address pain, chronic conditions, mental health concerns, and how they overlap. Find more details.

New Faces in the Locker Room

For several benefits, you’ll have the same great coverage with different partners.

  • LegalEASE replaces MetLife as our legal insurance partner with lower rates for coverage.
  • NortonLifeLock replaces Aura as our identity protection partner with lower rates for coverage.
  • Prudential replaces Lincoln Financial as our life and AD&D insurance partner with—seeing a pattern?—lower rates for coverage.
  • WEX replaces HealthEquity as our HSA, FSA, and commuter benefit partner. If you’re currently enrolled in any of these plans, expect more information soon about how to transition your account.

A New Plan Option for the Pacific Northwest

If you’re a Washington or Oregon resident, you have a new medical plan choice available: the Kaiser HMO. One thing to note—the Kaiser HMO works a bit differently than the other plans you may be used to. Consider chatting with Health Advocate before you make your decision.

Adjustments to Premiums for Some Anthem Medical Plans

Stuff costs more than it used to, and health care is no exception. Rates for all coverage levels of the Anthem $500 PPO and EPO plans will increase slightly.

The good news? FanDuel still offers zero-premium medical, dental, and vision options.

Counseling Support for Problem Gambling

Licensed counselors and support groups to address problem gambling are available immediately through Kindbridge. We already provide this service for our customers and are extending it to our employees and their families. This is available to you now. Sign up today.

Don’t forget to visit our documents and forms page for the latest plan summaries, flyers, and videos from our vendors—rookies and legends.

Enhanced Mental Health Support

Every quarterback needs a playmaker. FanDuel is pairing two great programs together to help you address mental and physical health concerns: Headspace EAP and Goodpath.

Headspace EAP

One of our most popular partners, Headspace, is getting a bigger role on our team. Headspace replaces Anthem as our EAP provider.

The Headspace EAP truly rolls out the red carpet for you. Here’s what to expect:

  • In-person or virtual therapy, up to seven sessions per issue per year
  • 24/7 phone support from licensed clinicians when you need help ASAP
  • Unlimited, on-demand text coaching, 24/7, to work through anything on your mind
  • Virtual psychiatry sessions for ongoing needs
  • Support for a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, legal stress, financial difficulties, work-life issues, family conflicts, and more
  • All of the same Headspace features you currently enjoy

The Headspace EAP is here to help you feel better, build resilience, and become the best version of yourself. And, just as before, the Headspace EAP is available to you at no cost.

Goodpath

Health issues are part of life. Having someone by your side to support you through physical and mental health challenges can take pressure off you and your family. That’s why we’re introducing Goodpath, a free program that assigns you a personalized care team to help you manage and treat conditions and lifestyle issues.

Goodpath provides virtual support to guide you through treatment for a variety of health needs, including chronic conditions like diabetes or heart disease, serious health issues like joint pain or digestive issues, everyday concerns like sleep or nutritional challenges, mental health needs, and even cancer survivorship.

After you contact Goodpath, your health coach will put together a program tailored to you. For instance, if you’re struggling with back pain, Goodpath identifies treatment options and sends a customized kit to you each month. Your first kit might include personal treatments, physical therapy bands, pain-management devices, supplements, or over-the-counter medicines.

Health care should support the whole person, mentally and physically. Goodpath does exactly that. Sign up to be notified as soon as Goodpath benefits are available to you.

Considering the Kaiser HMO?

Residents of California, Georgia, Oregon, and Washington are eligible to enroll in the Kaiser HMO plan. The plan is a valuable choice, offering a one-stop shop approach to your medical care. Your doctors might all be in the same building, and they all work together to give you a great experience.

Here’s the catch: Except in medical emergencies, your care is only covered when you use Kaiser doctors, facilities, and pharmacies. Kaiser also doesn’t do business in every state. If you’re covering a dependent who lives in a state without Kaiser facilities, this may not be the plan for you.

Before enrolling in the Kaiser HMO for the first time, consider chatting with Health Advocate.

Your Enrollment Game Plan

Enrolling is pretty straightforward. But you still need to know the fundamentals to make the most of your benefits.

  1. Know your team. This whole website is about your benefits! Read through it, and make sure you understand the options available to you.
  2. Study the stats. Decide which plan options make the most sense for you and your family in 2025. Read up on the scouting reports and plan comparison charts on the medical section of this website. Need personalized help? Consult Health Advocate for one-on-one guidance during Open Enrollment. General benefits questions? Check out our virtual webinar (11/4), or attend an enrollment event in Los Angeles (11/6), New York (11/7), or Atlanta (11/7).
  3. Be prepared. You’ll need Social Security numbers and contact information for yourself and any family members you’re enrolling.
  4. Game time. Once Open Enrollment begins on November 1, 2024, you can access the enrollment platform through Okta.
  5. Execute your game plan. Follow the prompts to enroll. Decide who you want to cover and which plans to pick.
  6. Pick your team captains. Designate a beneficiary for your life and AD&D, 401(k), and HSA benefits. Your beneficiary—or beneficiaries—receive funds if something happens to you.
  7. Double check your strategy. If you want to make changes to your elections once you’ve submitted them, you can go back to the bswift platform and complete the process again. You can do this at any time until Open Enrollment ends on November 15.
  8. Post-game party. That’s it! You’re enrolled. Review this website anytime you need information about your benefits. And don’t forget to take advantage of other free benefits available to you year-round. You may be missing out on something that would help you!

The Draft Board

These are the benefits available to you during Open Enrollment:

Medical, Dental, and Vision

It’s a good idea to review your medical plan options to find the best option for your situation. The Consumer Advantage and $1,500 PPO medical plans both come with premiums that are 100% paid by FanDuel. The $500 PPO, EPO, and Kaiser HMO are also great options, but you’ll pay a bit more in premiums for the coverage (it’s still heavily subsidized by FanDuel). Health Advocate can help you figure out the optimal choice for your unique situation.

Don’t forget to enroll yourself and your family in dental and vision coverage too. Just as with medical plans, FanDuel offers an option for dental and vision that won’t cost you a dime in premiums. For expanded dental or vision coverage in 2025, look into one of the buy-up options.

Health Savings Account (HSA) Contributions

The tax-advantaged HSA is only available to you if you choose the Consumer Advantage plan. And it has “advantage” in the name for a reason. FanDuel gives you a wad of free cash when you enroll in it. You can contribute too, and you won’t pay taxes on the money you put in, the funds you withdraw, or the investment growth of your account. Snap out of it—you’re not dreaming!

Already have an HSA? Check your contribution amounts. The IRS is increasing the max for 2025 HSA contributions:

Individual Coverage

$4,300
Family Coverage

$8,550

** Add another $1,000 if you’re age 55 or older.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)

Tax-advantaged FSAs can save you a lot of money each year. Spending big on day care? A dependent care FSA can help. Have you been procrastinating on a dental procedure? Consider a health care FSA. Remember, you must reenroll in FSAs every year.

FSAs are great for covering expenses at the beginning of the year. That’s because your entire FSA balance is accessible to you on January 1. So, if you enroll in the $500 PPO with a $500 deductible, plus you contribute at least $500 to a health care FSA, you’ll have the full amount of your deductible ready to spend—even if you incur a surprise medical expense on New Year’s Day.

But plan carefully! You can only carry over $660 of your health care or limited purpose FSA balance from 2025 to 2026, and you’ll lose any balance left in your dependent care FSA at the end of 2025.

Life and AD&D Insurance

FanDuel provides basic life and AD&D coverage at no cost to you, but you can choose to buy more for yourself or your spouse. Additional coverage is available for up to 6 times your salary and up to a maximum of $2,000,000. You can also purchase up to $250,000 of coverage for your spouse or domestic partner.

Legal Assistance

You have the right to an attorney. Legal assistance, now with LegalEASE, can and will be used to help you in a court of law (or with estate planning, buying a home, and more).

Pet Insurance

Do you have an orange cat that hates Mondays? A dog that solves mysteries? A “normal” pet? FanDuel offers insurance to cover them all.

Identity Protection

Don’t let cybercriminals turn your personal information into their profit. Identity protection through NortonLifeLock monitors your credit, manages your passwords, insures you in case a bad guy does slip through the cracks, and more.

Ready to enroll?

Decided which plans you want in 2025? Great! The next step is easy. Log in to Okta, and select the bswift tile. Once you’re in, follow the prompts.
