Cover Your Bases

Your FanDuel medical coverage takes care of a big chunk of your ongoing care when you’re on the shelf. But no matter how amazing your medical plan is, it won’t cover your electric bill or do your laundry while you’re recovering. That’s why you might want one or more of the voluntary insurances we offer through Aflac.

The plans each cover different things, but here’s what they all have in common:

• You can use any benefit payments you receive on anything—medical expenses, your rent, pizza delivery, or anything else.
• The cost of each plan is deducted directly from your paycheck. Once you enroll, you don’t need to think about it again.
• You can only enroll in these plans as a new hire, during Open Enrollment, or following a qualified life event.

Accident Insurance

With this plan, you receive a benefit if you’re injured and need treatment as the result of an accident. The amount of the benefit varies depending on the injury.

Critical Illness Insurance

Critical illness insurance pays you a benefit if you’re diagnosed with a serious illness, like cancer, a stroke, or a heart attack. The amount of the benefit depends on your diagnosis, but many illnesses are covered up to $10,000.

Hospital Indemnity Insurance

Hospital indemnity insurance protects your finances from the cost of a hospital admission. This plan pays a benefit in the event you’re admitted to the hospital, plus additional benefits for each day you’re confined to the hospital. You can choose between two levels of coverage.

Both plans pay a $100 benefit for a covered mammogram for women (inclusive) aged 35 and older and a $50 annual benefit to each covered person who completes a health screening. Log in to your Aflac account for more information.
