Changes After Enrollment

Highlight Reel

Just married? Drive off into the sunset knowing that you can add your soulmate to your benefits. New kid? Fun times! Add them to your health plans. When your life changes in a big way, it might also affect who you want to cover—or stop covering—with your FanDuel benefits.

The Times They Are A-Changin’

Normally, your only opportunity to make changes to your benefit choices is during Open Enrollment each fall. The exceptions to that rule are called qualified life events.

When you experience a qualified life event, you’re allowed to change your benefit choices afterward. Hustle, though. You only have 30 days from the date of the event.

Qualified life events include:

  • Getting married, divorced, or legally separated
  • The birth or adoption of your child or stepchild
  • Your dependent child reaches age 26
  • A change in your or your spouse’s employment status (changing jobs, getting laid off, getting furloughed, etc.)
  • You move to a state where your current plan isn’t available
  • The death of your dependent spouse, child, or domestic partner

How to Change Benefits Midyear

To submit your changes, go to the bswift tile in Okta within 30 days of the qualified life event. Your username is your employee ID, and your password is your birthday (MM/DD/YYYY). You can change your plan choices and add or remove dependents from coverage.

Remember: You’ll need supporting documents, like a marriage or birth certificate, to verify that the qualified life event happened.
